There are always those points in time where you really want to bake but you just don’t have everything you need to make that killer recipe you’ve been wanting to make again. So rather than running to the grocery store, you can use a substitution instead.

I personally am a fan of using applesauce or banana in lieu of egg. That makes for some very delicious pancakes in the morning! Little bit of a different texture, but I still like them! Here are a whole bunch of substitutions for anything you might not have in your kitchen.
